Our moisture measurement instruments are specified worldwide in many test methods and protocols, usually identifying a specific model. However, updating documentation to incorporate our new products can be slow due to infrequent reviews. To meet existing standards, we continue to produce earlier generation ‘Legacy’ instruments as long as they are viable.
SADPmini Portable Dewpoint Hygrometer
The SADPmini, designed for industrial process gases and dry compressed air, offers a compact and portable solution with an ergonomic design. This model, featuring a moisture sensor, signal conditioning circuitry, memory management, a 5-key membrane keypad, and an onboard rechargeable lithium-ion battery, has now been superseded by the SADPmini2.
SADPmini-Ex Portable Dewpoint Hygrometer
The SADPmini-Ex, certified as intrinsically safe for hazardous areas, continues the line’s tradition of compact, portable, and user-friendly design. It has been superseded by the SADPmini2-Ex, which is also intrinsically safe according to ATEX, IECEx, and UL standards, and features logging and Bluetooth as standard options.
SADPμ Portable Dewpoint Meter
The SADPμ, valued for its robustness and accuracy in both hazardous and non-hazardous areas, has been phased out in favour of the more versatile SADPmini2 range. This new range includes options for standard, logging, or intrinsically safe models, catering to a broader array of applications.
DSP-Ex Portable Dewpoint Meter
Previously a self-contained, intrinsically safe hygrometer for industrial and laboratory applications, the DSP-Ex required minimal maintenance. It has now been replaced by the SADPmini2 range, which offers improved functionality for benchtop spot checking or short-run measurements.
DSP-FCI Portable Benchtop Analyser
The DSP-FCI, along with DSP-Ex benchtop analysers, has transitioned to the SADPmini2 range to better meet the diverse needs of today’s applications. Alpha Moisture Systems now offers separate flow indicators and needle valves, specifically addressing the new regulations against venting SF6 gas into the atmosphere. For SF6 applications, a collection and pump-back solution is available.
P35 Portable Benchtop Analyser
The P35, previously the go-to benchtop analyser for SF6 applications, is now part of a comprehensive solution based on the SADPmini2 range, and including a collection and pump-back instrument, to comply with regulations against venting SF6 gas into the atmosphere.
ADHT Dewpoint Transmitter
Now replaced by the AMT Dewpoint Transmitter — a more compact and feature-rich instrument offering automatic calibration, span correction, and the ability to connect to standard or advanced displays or multi-point measurement systems.
ADHT-Ex Dewpoint Transmitter
Now superseded by the AMT-Ex Dewpoint Transmitter — a more compact and feature-rich intrinsically safe instrument, ideal for hazardous areas. It features automatic calibration, span correction, and the ability to connect to standard or advanced displays or multi-point measurement systems.
DS1000-ADHS Hygrometer
Now superseded by the more technologically advanced DS1200-AMT dewpoint hygrometer system, which builds on the success of the DS1000-ADHS with improved features and more user-friendly configuration and menu options.
