How our dewpoint transmitters work
Our dewpoint transmitters are designed to measure trace moisture levels down to low parts per billion (ppb) in both hazardous and non-hazardous applications, making them versatile for a wide range of environments.
The proprietary aluminium oxide sensing technology in our dewpoint transmitters ensures superior process control, offering unparalleled sensitivity and reliability, even under the demanding conditions of industrial applications and extreme environments.
Our dewpoint transmitters can be used individually or as part of a more complex engineered solution, such as a continuous online trace moisture measurement system or a dewpoint sample system. Options include the standard 2-wire loop-powered AMT transmitter or the intrinsically safe AMT-Ex for hazardous areas.
All Alpha Moisture Systems transmitters feature our AutoCal function, which enables users to perform span checks and correct deviations between annual laboratory calibrations.
For seamless integration and real-time data access, our transmitters are fully compatible with various display controllers, including the standard DS1200, advanced DS4000, or the enhanced DS1500 with MODBUS RTU displays. Each transmitter is supplied with a calibration certificate traceable to National and International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), ensuring accuracy and reliability from the moment of installation.
