Our Air Sampling Vacuum Pump (ASVP) is engineered to deliver the optimal flow of ambient air for sampling in dry rooms, cleanrooms, or environmental chambers. This unit ensures precise moisture measurements by providing the necessary airflow to our range of portable dewpoint hygrometers.
Designed for versatility and safety, the ASVP supports accurate moisture measurement across various applications, including dry or clean rooms, glove boxes, environmental chambers, product drying, and cool stores — providing an optimal flow of ambient air to the SADPmini2, SADPmini2-L or SADPmini2-Ex portable dewpoint hygrometers.
Offering an optimal flow rate of 2 litres per minute for accurate sampling, the ASVP is user-friendly with an easy-to-read colour display, a simple four-button navigation interface, a motion detection feature for usage alerts, a lockable keypad to prevent tampering and a smooth finish for easy decontamination. The ASVP is certified as intrinsically safe for operation in flammable atmospheres, allowing it to be used in potentially explosive zones — when combined with the SADPmini2-Ex portable dewpoint hygrometer.

The Air Sampling Vacuum Pump (ASVP) draws ambient air to provide a sample to the portable dewpoint hygrometer's sensor, which then analyses and displays the moisture content of the sample in either °C or °F dewpoint, ppm(V), ppm(w), mg /m3 or lb/MMSCF units. This method is particularly useful for measuring moisture in dry rooms.
